What is AHM Atelier?

We are a studio space design to serve as both a convenient office and studio space for creatives and business community.

Where are you located?

We are conveniently located near the white sox stadium between Morgan and Halsted.

Am I sharing the space with a community?

No. You share private office/ studio space through an hour usage system. Atelier is not like many places you’re familiar with where you have random officemates.

Will another member be able to enter the space while in use?

No. Other members are NOT permitted to enter. However, all members will be notified of bookings or problems within the space. 

 

Can my friend utilize my space since I pay for the usage?

No.

Are backdrops provided?

Yes. Black, white, brown, and grey.

Am I able to store items?
    1. There will be medium sized lockers for your convenience to leave smaller items that maybe tedious to carry in and out of the space while utilizing.  

 

Are we expected to clean the studio after each use?

Yes, all trash is to be taken with whomever enters.

Will you have a computer in the space?

No, we encourage all creatives to bring their own technology for security of any files. 

 

Is food and drink allowed in the space?

Yes if booking more than 3 hours. All food must be discarded before the end of your time to avoid any lingering smells that may affect booked members. 

 

How am I able to book my time?

Log in and see what available in the calendar. Once you choose your time, the calendar will sync with other subscribed members.

What happens if the time I need is booked up?

You have the option of messaging the member and the admin to work out the schedule request. 

 

Can I book weeks in advance?
  • Each member is able to book as far in advance as contracted. For example, 3 month contract includes booking in any days of those 3 months.  
  • We have 3, 6, and 1 year contracts available. 
How am I able to keep track of my hours?

Each member will have his/her on portal to login and a confirmation email will be sent out that includes your booking and hours remaining. 

 

What if I want to use the space everyday? How can I book it?

As a subscriber you are free to book as many hours as needed with your months usage. 

 

What if I run out of hours?

As a subscriber you will have the opportunity to rent the studio space for discounted rates. See the list here (provide link to member portal with pop up list of OT rate).

 

Will my items be secure while in the space?

Yes, each member is assigned a medium sized locker system. Each member has the option to have usage of more than one locker adjusted in contract. Currently we are in the works of creating a bigger storage space for our members. We appreciate the support during this time. 

 

 

What if I choose not to renew my subscription?

Access to space will not be permitted. Supervised pickup is allowed within 24 hours of notification. $175 fee will be assessed for item removal if there is no response to any communication.
